Christmas day is always a whirlwind of a day, running from one house to the next. We always have three stops to make, not to mention doing our family Christmas at home too. Topping this Christmas will be extremely hard.
Ryan and I couldn't wait for Garrett to wake up so we could see the look on his face when he saw his new tractor from Santa. As soon as he entered the room, his eyes lit up and he shouted, "Tractor!" He didn't waste any time jumping right on. Those sweet little legs really have to stretch to push down on the accelerator, but he didn't let that stop him.
All of these pictures crack me up, seeing him with his shoes on. His socks kept slipping off of the pedal, so we put his shoes on and he was able to give that new tractor a test drive.
I love the innocence and appreciation of each little gift he received. He wanted to play with each one before opening a new one. In true Garrett form, he was sure to say thank you for everything. He just melts my heart!

He cried all during his bath, begging to play with his tractor. While I was dressing him for the day, he put his hands on my cheeks and said, "Peas, peas, peas tra-cher Mama." How can you say no to that!?! He played and played while Ryan and I finished getting ready and packed up for the day. He loaded all of his toys onto his trailer and tuned the tractor's radio to his favorite Spanish channel. Ryan would change the station to a country channel, and he would immediately change it back. We may have a little bilingual boy on our hands. Ha!
Our first stop of the day was at Mimi and Pawpaw's house. We opened a few presents, snapped a few pictures, and loaded up the car before heading to my Aunt Diana's house for lunch.

We attempted to get a few family pictures. Someone sure was being silly!
After lunch at Aunt Diana's we opened presents once again. Garrett was a present professional by now.

I loved his new Snoopy and Snoopy book from Uncle Darwin and Davina!

After lunch and visiting with my family, we loaded up the truck for one last stop. Christmas day just wouldn't be complete without seeing Grandma and Grandpa McCullough. Garrett was thrilled to see Uncle Chad, Summer and Hunter too.
As soon as we walked in and Garrett saw the Christmas tree, he started asking for presents. Well, why shouldn't he? He knew the drill and wanted to get down to business.
Look how serious these lips are! This guy was focused.
Garrett and Hunter had a blast playing with their new toys, but they had even more fun playing with Ryan and Chad's old toys. They chased each other around the house with old laser guns until we couldn't handle the buzzing sounds any longer. They were cracking us up!Grandma McCullough cooked an amazing dinner for us all. We spent the afternoon visiting and watching the boys play.
We gave Garrett a bath at Grandma and Grandpa's house and slipped on his jammies before heading back home. Our sweet little man was out before we left the neighborhood.
I will always cherish these sweet memories with my precious family.
