That first cold sting of a popsicle on your tongue is a summer ritual. There is always a brief second where you are afraid that your tongue will stick before you relax and enjoy the ride. Garrett was introduced to his very first popsicle last week, and he was impressed.
First - Head outside so you can get messy and really enjoy the experience.
Checkin' it out.
Hey, this is pretty good!
Second - Let it melt and drip all down the front.
Can you see his wheels turning?
Third - Rub it in your hair real good, and let it drip down your arms.
Fourth - Rub a little on the ground for your four-legged friend. Sharing is caring.
Fifth - Time to get clean. Can't be tracking that sticky mess all over Mama's new house.
Sixth - Cry crocodile tears when Mama turns the water off and you can't figure out how to turn it back on.
Call for back up. Two heads are better than one.
Seventh - Pull out all of the stops in hopes that Mom will give in and turn the water back on. Flash those beautiful baby blues.
Give a little toothy grin.
Play a little peek-a-boo.
Eighth - Go back for one more try.
Success!
Keep it cool!
