Summer Fun

I'm so glad that I have other friends who are teachers and are able to be home with their kids during the summer.  Last week Garrett and I met up with two of my friends, Jamie and Tara, for a play date and some swimming.  Jamie's little girl, Reese, is Garrett's girlfriend.  I can't believe I forgot to take a picture of the two of them.  They are only three months apart, but Garrett looks HUGE compared to her.  She is so dainty, and is still in that sleepy stage. 

We met for lunch, and then headed to Jamie's community pool. The pool is awesome!! There were actually 3 pools. One is a play pool for the kids, an "everybody" pool with a huge slide, and an adult only pool. They even had life guards on duty.  

We walked from Jamie's house to the pool, and Garrett fell asleep on the way.

Lane and Ryleigh are the cutest!  They are both such smart and well behaved kids.  It was so funny to listen to their conversations with each other and watch them interact with one another.  Ryleigh has such an advanced vocabulary and has a dynamic personality.  Lane is very observant and such a boy!  He's very athletic and loves cars.  They are both such sweet kids.  These are the kind of kids I hope Garrett chooses to be friends with.

Little Buddy was exhausted, but had a blast!  Hopefully we will be able to get together with this crew again this summer.
