To the Country

It has almost been a year since we have been to the country with Ryan's parents.  We've had such a busy year and it's been hard to find time to make the trip.  Memorial weekend was the perfect long weekend to head down for some fun.  The weather was perfect, not too hot and not too cold.

Garrett had a blast playing in the dirt with his tractors and dug holes all over the place.
The smokers were running all day for a delicious dinner.

Hank had a blast too.  Poor old guy was exhausted the next few days when we come home.
Grandma and Grandpa bought a huge pool for Garrett to play in.  It was a little slippery on the concrete bricks, so he had to wear his "lake shoes" in the pool so he could get some traction.  He was sipping and sliding all over the place.  It was still a little cold outside, and the sun never came out to warm up the water.  Poor Garrett was shivering and his teeth were chattering.  We had to make him get out to warm up!  He had a blast digging with his tractors and "washing" them in the pool.

Daddy made big waves to splash Garrett.

Garrett and Grandma read his new book about tractors and played with his new Paw Patrol toy.  He loves Marshall and his fire truck.
Then he was back outside to ride his tractor and do some more digging!

But nothing is more fun that riding 4-wheelers with Grandpa, Mommy, and Daddy!

We had a blast in the country and can't wait to head back soon!
