Valentines Day

Here's a picture of my sweet Valentine, or one of them at least!  Garrett took all of his teachers goody bags filled with hugs and kisses.  We had to improvise with our creativity since most of my crafty supplies are packed away.  I'm also printerless since our printer is wireless and has to have a wireless connection to work properly.  We decided to forgo cable and internet these next few months to avoid paying start up/installation fees twice...but that's a whole other story!  

We sent Grandma & Grandpa and Mimi and Pawpaw cards in the mail.  

Grandma and Grandpa gave Garrett a cute pair of big boy pajamas and a sweet Valentines puppy.  They also treated Ryan and I to some sweets!  We pulled out Garrett's Valentines day book that they gave him last year, and read it several times.  He's now addicted to it, and I catch him carrying it all over the house.  It's beginning to look a little abused!

We met up with Mimi and Pawpaw, and they gave G some sweet cards and another little puppy.  Garrett thinks it's funny because it will growl and bark at him when he puts his finger in the dog's mouth.  They hooked me up with a sweet pair of Momma pajamas too!

We decided to "double date" for Valentine's Day.  Our friends Jeff and Joleen came over and we grilled steaks and had baked potatoes.  We really got wild and crazy with dessert and enjoyed some Girl Scout cookies.  Haha!  Everything turned out delicious and we got to spend some fun time hanging out with some of our favorite people!
