Father's Day Part II

This year for Father's Day we went in with Summer and Joleen and bought all of the dads who went on our trip a private fishing trip.  They left bright and early and headed out to do some serious fishing for the day.

The night before we headed down to the beach to hunt for crabs.  We didn't have any luck, so we decided to try again at sunrise the next morning.
Garrett LOVED his float!

But once again, we had no luck finding the little critters!  It was worth the try though.  The boys had fun just playing and digging in the sand, while the girls soaked in a beautiful sun rise and walk on the beach.

Once we'd decided we were terrible crab hunters, we went back to clean up and took the boys out for donuts.

This boy LOVES his donuts!
While we were all having fun, we were hoping that the boys were having a great time on their fishing trip.  Our hope was that they would catch something, then that each of them would have a chance to catch something.  Later that afternoon, the pictures started rolling in and they were having a blast.

Ryan and the mahi-mahi that he caught.
Their trip was more than we expected and they caught a ton of fish!  Their guide helped them filet the fish and told us about a great restaurant that we could take our fish to where they would cook it for us.

Later that night we loaded up and headed out for a fresh fish dinner!  We went to the Fisherman's Warf that the fishing guide recommended.  We were able to take the catch of the day and they would cook it to order.

After dinner that night we walked around the boardwalk for a bit before heading back home to rest up for a day at the beach!
