The Big 3-0

Thank you so much to all of my friends and family who made my 30th birthday special. We celebrated Saturday by going to dinner at one of my favorite Mexican food restaraunts, Miguelito's. Sunday afternoon my family and in-laws came over for our traditional birthday party. My family has always celebrated birthdays with the traditional "song and cake" party, no matter how old you are.

I was showered with lots of wonderful gifts to make easing into 30 a little better. My favorite gift was from my parents. They gave me a Kindle, and I LOVE it! I've already downloaded my next book club book.
